So, I haven't really been writing much here since school started up again. I've been busy with work, then I got sick, and that's pretty much it! I also realize that this journal is pretty dead and I don't feel the need to bore anyone with the minor highs and lows of my life.
However. Last night was an exception.
My obsession with the Spider Club dates back to my obsession with Lindsay Lohan, in her post-Freaky Friday, pre-trashy phase. I had just seen Mean Girls and started to read about her, Paris Hilton and Mischa Barton going to all these popular Hollywood hot spots. Of course, I never got in to any of these places where I had an actual chance of seeing them... I just saw pictures of them all having fun in the pages of US Weekly. But being the star-fucker that I am, I was desperate to go.
The Spider Club has been my wet dream for months. And last night, thanks to the help of some special friends, I got to go. (Yeah, I know anyone bothering to read this entry hates me by now, for whatever reason, but this is my journal so I have to write about it!)
Apparently, the club is atop Avalon, which is not so much a club but more of a venue for concerts or something. We barely got into Spider because of the guest list, but once we did, it was like heaven on earth. I've never been in a room with so many beautiful girls! It was like a sea of blonde hair and dark roots. What's weird is that everyone was either 17 or 22 - there really wasn't much of an in-between. And you just knew that most of the girls were these bitchy, Beverly Hills cokeheads... not that there's anything wrong with that.
I don't feel like going into the details of the night. I mean, after all, it just was some club, you know? But I did have a fantastic time. Like, wow, it was amazing. I'm such a sucker for this stuff. And I did get to see plenty of teen celebrities (no, not Lindsay, that bitch was out of town!) so that made me hysterically happy. Of course, I probably could have gone in for only five minutes and I would have been perfectly happy. It was more about getting in to one of these places, even though I don't *technically* belong there.
Well, now it's back to my normal life! I'm glad to have gotten that out of my system.
(Hmm. I guess I will be a total loser and say that - even though I don't even like her that much - I did get to dance with Ashlee Simpson and hang out at her private booth for half the night. After all, what was the point of going if I can't even be a tad elitist about the whole thing?)
